Meet the Team

Shelly Spaziano, President and Founder

Hello, I’m Shelly. Thank you for your interest in Kristina’s House of Hope.

Our vision at KHOH is to help women in honor of my daughter Kristina, who died tragically when she was 20 years old. Kristina was a joyous and empathetic spirit who believed in empowering women. Kristina’s House of Hope carries that same spirit within its walls. We are working to bring peace to suffering women and empower them to build a solid foundation for the rest of their lives.

I have been in recovery for the last 15 years and understand the challenges women face while suffering with addiction, undergoing rehabilitation, and the support network necessary to ensure success. I have facilitated 12-step meetings in the Oswego County Jail for the past ten years and have been helping women in the local community in their recovery process for many years.

I have spent the past 40 years in various settings that have developed my leadership skills. Twenty-five of those years were spent as a single mother of three. My extensive experience with running a household, budgeting money, and leading people will enable me to succeed while managing KHOH.

I am determined to help women with a desire to clean up their lives and become functioning members of society; free from addiction. By creating KHOH a desperate need in Oswego County is being filled. With your help, we will do our best to provide assistance to those women most in need. Thank you for your support!
